Doug Frey
General Manager
Doug has been with ECI since 2010, after he chose to leave a long career with Les Schwab Tire Centers. Along with a solid Business and Management background, Doug brought with him a high level of Customer Service which our customers have come to expect and is rarely seen in the Construction Trades. Doug has established deep-rooted relationships with Architects, Builders and Homeowners through his education, experience and knowledge of the latest technologies, best products and best practices in the industry. Doug is driven to provide our clients with the best buying experience and provide options for the best products available so they can enjoy the comfort of their homes for many, many years!
Doug enjoys fishing, snowmobiling, RV’ing and spending time with his family.
Michael Gorremans
Assistant Manager & Commercial Sales
Michael came to ECI in 2012 with over 25 years of commercial drywall experience and was instrumental in helping build the Commercial Side of our company. Michael works closely with both Commercial and Residential clients, providing them outstanding service and knowledge of applications and assemblies. You will not find a more knowledgeable individual in our industry when it comes to Commercial Buildings. Michael is frequently brought into projects very early during the design phase to provide his knowledge and experience to help design energy efficient Commercial Buildings in Central Oregon.
Michael was promoted to Assistant Manager of ECI at the beginning of 2020! He enjoys camping, fishing, snowboarding and riding his Harley.
Don Drumhiller
Residential Sales & Safety Director
Don began working for ECI in 2015 and came to us with over 10 years of insulation experience, both in Estimating and Installation of insulation products. Prior to working in the insulation industry, Don worked for McDonnell Douglas building aircrafts in Long Beach, CA. Don works closely with multiple Remediation/Disaster Restoration companies, Custom Home Builders, and Homeowners. If you have ever met Don, he is a wealth of knowledge and a great guy to work with!
In addition to Sales, Don is also our Safety Director and does a tremendous job in educating our Staff to work safely every single day. “Our goal is to make sure our employees return home every day in the same, if not better condition than when they arrived!”
Don enjoys fishing the High Lakes around Central Oregon.
Travis Wilkinson
Residential Sales & Existing Homes
Travis began working for ECI in 2016 and came to us freshly out of the artificial turf industry. With a background in Construction, Travis had a very good working knowledge in building practices and quickly became our “go to guy” for Existing Homes, Weatherization and remodel projects! Although he is our most knowledgeable Estimator for existing homes, he has also earned the respect from several of the Custom Home Builders throughout Central Oregon. Travis currently runs our Weatherization Department and is BPI accredited as a Building Analyst and Envelope Professional through the Building Performance Institute.
Travis has lived in Bend for the majority of his life and enjoys all of the outdoor activities that Central Oregon has to offer. “I have been all over the U.S. and I must say there is no place like Bend, Oregon!”
Jonas Elfving
Residential Sales
Jonas has been with ECI since 2016 and started out as a warehouse worker and has worked his way up the ladder to earn a position as one of our Estimators! Jonas is a pleasure to work with and does a great job managing ECI’s largest customer. When he is not working with new clients, Jonas helps managing our Fleet’s Maintenance which in itself is a full-time job! Jonas wears a lot of “hats” for ECI and wears them all extremely well!
Jonas enjoys spending time with his son and spending time on the gun range.
Kea Vargas
Residential Estimator
Kea is ECI’s newest Estimator! Kea is a recent graduate of Whitworth University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and was a 4 year standout on Whitworth Basketball Team earning him recognition as a 2-time Defensive Player of the Year. With a background in framing and siding, Kea brings with him a keen eye for detail and great working knowledge of Best Practices in the Construction Industry.
Kea enjoys snowboarding, watching basketball and exercising.

Energy Conservation Insulation is a local, family-owned, full line insulation company with a reputation for the highest quality products and employees.
We are a full service weatherization and insulation company that work with fiberglass, cellulose, denim, spray foam products and duct work. Must have a keen eye for detail, be a hard worker and feel comfortable working in attics and crawl floors for extended amounts of time. We would prefer that you have experience with installing roof ventilation in attics, installing duct work, applying mastic on duct work, air sealing etc. Working knowledge of the floor framing/materials would be helpful. We are willing to train the right individual who takes pride in their workmanship.

Energy Conservation Insulation is an Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally and believe in sustainable building practices. We receive training and support from Energy Trust to stay up to date on the latest Energy Trust standards, incentives, and installation quality requirements.
